Privacy notice
This notice explains how the current website, quote, booking, vehicle-media, Garage, analytics, and payment workflows handle information.
Information collected
The booking form may collect your name, email, phone, contact preference, vehicle year/make/model/trim/color, service interests, requested location and timing, notes, uploaded vehicle photographs, consent choices, and booking or payment status.
How it is used
Apex uses the information to evaluate vehicle compatibility and condition, prepare estimates and work orders, contact you about the request, take a required reservation deposit, schedule approved work, prevent fraud, maintain service records, improve the customer experience, and send marketing only when you separately opt in.
Payments
Payment entry is handled by Stripe-hosted Checkout or, when specifically selected, PayPal-hosted checkout after the written scope and price are approved. American Apex does not intentionally store full card numbers, card security codes, or customer Stripe, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal login credentials on this website.
Vehicle media and service records
Simulator walkaround video and photos remain in your browser unless you choose AI Surface Fit or continue with a quote request. When you run AI Surface Fit, compressed review images may be sent to OpenAI to create a preliminary visible-surface proposal with response storage disabled. OpenAI's applicable API security and abuse-monitoring practices may still apply. When you continue with a quote, selected vehicle images and the proposal may be sent to Apex for final review and booking records. An upload is not permission to publish the image; promotional use requires separate approval.
Apex Garage access
Apex Garage access uses the booking reference, exact booking email, and phone last four from the original request, then stores a secure browser-only session cookie. The Garage displays only records tied to the verified booking email. Do not share your access details or active browser session; contact Apex if a request used the wrong email or phone number.
Analytics and advertising
Essential browser storage supports privacy choices and the booking flow. Optional analytics and advertising measurement load only after you choose “Allow analytics” and the applicable provider connection is available. You can clear the saved privacy choice in your browser storage to choose again.
Sharing and retention
Information may be processed by hosting, storage, payment, communications, calendar, analytics, AI, and service providers needed to operate the requested workflow. Apex retains information only as reasonably necessary for the booking, accounting, safety, warranty, fraud-prevention, legal, and customer-service purposes that apply.
